Over the past few days, we have been reminded of the generosity of so many Salem businesses! Twelve fabulous raffleitems have been donated to the garden. We will have a table set up outside of Pamplemousse again TODAY with raffle tickets for sale. Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. You will be able to put your tickets toward specific items. The prize drawing will be at 8:45PM TODAY. Winners who are not present at the fundraiser will be contacted the next day to pick up their prize.

Celebrate the Harvest!
... an evening of garden-fresh treats, wine, and raffles to benefit Salem Community Gardens
August 31st 7PM - 9PM

Thanks to all of the enthusiastic gardeners who were able to join us for our 2nd annual potluck! There were about 130 gardeners, plenty of delicious dishes, and gorgeous weather.

This year you can sign up to volunteer for shifts well in advance, and you will be reminded by email!

If it turns out you just don't have the time, you can opt to pay the additional $30 fee. (Just send a check for $30 to SCG and write "volunteering" in the note.)

Volunteers at Palmer Cove Garden - April 11, 2010
Just check out the calendar below with all of the opportunities listed. You can volunteer to harvest the donation garden, help with the compost, water, weed, mow, or do odd jobs. Just look for a volunteering shift that needs people (starts with "NEED" and the number of volunteers needed). Then e-mail
